Together with our nonprofit affiliate There's Hope for Teens & Tots, we form a community-rooted educational ecosystem — one that serves children from infancy through the teenage years, across economic circumstances, and now, across the clock.

Who We Serve

Victory Learning Academy was built for five distinct audiences.

Each audience has a different problem. Each has a dedicated page with the specific information, data, and next steps designed for them.

The 24/7 Model

Columbia, SC Is a Working-Mother Economy That Never Sleeps.

The research confirms what any nurse leaving a 7 PM shift already knows: standard childcare ends at 6:00 PM. The city's largest employers operate in shifts. Their employees — disproportionately women, disproportionately mothers — work evenings, nights, and weekends. VLA is the answer.

Why the Industry Hasn't Solved This — Until Now

01
Operator-Level Intimacy

You can't design 24/7 care from a corporate office in Columbus, Ohio. VLA was built by sitting with Lexington Medical Center night-shift nurses and asking what they need at 4:00 AM.

02
VLA × Care.com Caregiver Corps

A structured partnership leveraging Care.com's college student and young professional network as VLA-certified overnight and weekend staff — solving the math problem that stopped every other operator.

03
7 Years of Community Trust

The trust required to convince a mother to leave her child overnight takes years to build. VLA has spent 7 years building exactly this kind of trust in Columbia, SC.

VLA Caregiver Corps

College students from USC Columbia, Midlands Technical College, and Benedict College trained as VLA-certified overnight staff — creating a sustainable, scalable staffing pipeline.
